Allie Ruth celebrates THREE!
We started your third birthday celebration off with donuts! Of course!
Landon picked out a great present just for you! Its a princess nail polish kit with a nail dryer. What a perfect gift for you! You loved it so much, we had to paint your nails right away!
Mom and Dad surprised you with a new barbie bike! Its still a little big, but you will really enjoy it when spring comes!
You and Landon helped make the cake!
Allie Ruth gives a thumbs up that everything looks great! Let the party begin! Mimmie, Gammie, Shelly and Sydney came over to help us celebrate! We enjoyed a Lenny's sandwich tray. I think Allie Ruth was still full from all the donuts she ate!
As soon as everyone started arriving with the presents, Allie Ruth wanted to start opening them right away!
Sydney was so sweet! She helped you open your gifts and read you your cards. You really enjoyed the attention!
You got a ton of great gifts!
You loved everyone singing Happy Birthday! You have even requested that we sing it several more times since then!
You really got into your birthday this year! We talked about it a lot leading up to the day and you were very excited!
The way you were eating your cake was so funny!
You were cracking us all up!
You are such a doll baby, Allie Ruth! You will never know how much you mean to our family! We love you so much! So bitter sweet to watch you grow and learn new things everyday!

A comparison photo...
I grabbed a hat really quick for Allie Ruth to wear while we were playing outside. I remembered that I had a picture of her in that same hat when she was almost a year old. Here she is at almost three years old.
Her eyes are still so blue! That sweet, little baby face is starting to fade. When Landon was a baby, I took his picture every month in the same chair for three years! That just did not happen with my second baby!

One more Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
We spent the last of our Christmas break at the River with our good friends. All the kids range in age but get along well and have a great time together. When we were not napping or laying around being lazy, we enjoyed playing at the park, taking walks, having fights with pellet guns, and eating!
The kids enjoyed one last Christmas hoorah!
That's the last of the Christmas gifts! What an amazing Christmas it was!
New Years Eve Day was beautiful! The weather was warm and we really debated a boat ride, but just decided to hang out. We played with the kids and some of their new toys.
For NYE night we had a yummy dinner and hung out!
We may or may not have made it to midnight!
We were so blessed during 2011! I hope that 2012 is just as wonderful!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Christmas Morning!
SANTA DID COME!! He loved our treats and left a sweet note!
We also knew that Rudolph had some of the water we left for him... the water turned red from where his nose dipped into the water!!
The tooth fairy made her stop as well. We were kinda worried because over at Meme's house, one of our cousins told us a story about losing a tooth on Christmas Eve and the tooth fairy and Santa got into a fight! This year they got along perfectly, the fairy even left the cash in the stocking!
Landon was in shock!
Allie Ruth wanted to still be in bed! I had to go wake her up that morning.
Finally came around and opened your stocking with Dad!
Santa was way too good to us...
WAY TOO GOOD TO US!!
Allie Ruth and I took a great nap Christmas afternoon!
We spent Christmas night at Gammie's with Sydney, Shelly and Dailey!
It was also a lot of fun!
We had a great, relaxing Christmas Holiday! Kelly and I have said several times that this was our best Christmas ever! Its so fun seeing it through the eyes of your kids!
Christmas 2011
Landon and I built this gingerbread house at his Holiday party at school! I think we did a great job! I was excited that I got to be a Mom for a little while at school. Landon had trouble earlier at the start of the holidays understanding the order of events. Like when is my birthday, when is Christmas, etc. When he realized that this day was a half day of school and full of fun, he said "Today is going to be a great day for me!" And it was!
Allie Ruth and her holiday hair! It didn't last long, but had to get a picture of the cuteness!
We celebrated Christmas with Mimmie on the 23rd. She came over and we had more yummy food cooked by Kelly!
It was a great Christmas night!
On Christmas Eve...
Landon lost his third tooth! The tooth fairy and Santa in one night, OH MY!
We visited the Chaisson's on Christmas Eve afternoon before heading over to Meme's house!
We had fun playing dirty santa, watching Meme open her gifts, and hanging out with family!
We tracked Santa all day online, so we knew it was time to get to bed!
I wonder if Landon and Allie Ruth were good enough this year for Santa to come?
