Christmas 2011

Landon and I built this gingerbread house at his Holiday party at school! I think we did a great job! I was excited that I got to be a Mom for a little while at school. Landon had trouble earlier at the start of the holidays understanding the order of events. Like when is my birthday, when is Christmas, etc. When he realized that this day was a half day of school and full of fun, he said "Today is going to be a great day for me!" And it was!

Allie Ruth and her holiday hair! It didn't last long, but had to get a picture of the cuteness!
We celebrated Christmas with Mimmie on the 23rd. She came over and we had more yummy food cooked by Kelly!

It was a great Christmas night!

On Christmas Eve...

Landon lost his third tooth! The tooth fairy and Santa in one night, OH MY!

We visited the Chaisson's on Christmas Eve afternoon before heading over to Meme's house!
We had fun playing dirty santa, watching Meme open her gifts, and hanging out with family!

We tracked Santa all day online, so we knew it was time to get to bed!

I wonder if Landon and Allie Ruth were good enough this year for Santa to come?

Landon celebrates SIX!

We started the celebration off with a sleep over! Nathan, our new friend from school, came home with you after school got out for the break.

Our first ever sleep over went really well and was a lot of fun!

On the real day of your birthday, Wednesday, you wanted Allie Ruth to stay home from school and share your day. You are so sweet to her! and most of the time she does not deserve it!
The two of you spent the morning playing. I am thankful for how well you two play together. You are easy going for the most part and take really good care of your sister!

We ate lunch at home and then met Dad at Chuckie Cheese!!

Its hard to say who had the most fun!

Then it was time to rest up and get everything ready for your family birthday party!

You requested Mummy Dogs! The food was so good and the party was really laid back!

Good job Dad!!

So thankful for our family that was able to come to the party! The guests included Mimmie, Gammie, Meme, and Uncle Bub!

After dinner, it was time to open presents!

For your sixth birthday you got your first riffle from Mom and Dad. Some other favorites were a remote control helicopter, remote control big truck and a wii game!

Time for cake and singing Happy Birthday!

We love you so much, Landon! You are such a blessing to Daddy and I! We could not ask for more out of a son and you are growing up too fast!!

Tennessee Christmas!

We packed up the car and headed up to Uncle Bub's cabin at the Tennessee River!

We got there in the early afternoon. We played outside and harassed Uncle Bub!

We had a really great dinner! Uncle Bub's ribs and Kelly's bacon wrapped crappie!

After dinner, it was time for PJs and PRESENTS!

Then we watched Elf and snuggled!!

It was a great, relaxing Holiday night!

Allie Ruth's Debut!

Allie Ruth had her first ever Christmas program!

The older two's sang "It must be Santa" with hand motions! Its was really cute!

The little cuties followed along with their teacher. Allie Ruth even put her dress back down when her teacher told her to! She is much more comfortable on the stage than her big brother!

And, of course, its always great to see Ms. Nelli!

It's beginning to look a lot like...

CHRISTMAS!!!!

We have the tree up and the house decorated!

We have even had SNOW!!

Our good friend, the Elf, wrote us a letter and has arrived at our house to make sure we are behaving and using our  manners!

We visited the Enchanted Forest, just like we do every year. All I could get the entire time was a picture of their backs! The kids could not take their eyes off of all the displays!

We had fun with Mimmie and love the treats she bought us from the gift shop!

And lastly, we visited Santa!
We sure hope he is good to us this year!
