Merry Christmas!

Even though the kids were not feeling well, Santa still stopped at our house!

He left the kids some awesome toys!

He even remembered Lucy!

Landon thought that Rudolph's water smelled bad. ???

A princess tea set is the only thing Allie Ruth asked Santa for!

We had another relaxing day at home. Mimmie and Gammie came over for breakfast and to see what Santa left the kids. We spent the morning playing and being lazy. Still working on trying to feel better.

Allie Ruth was a big help cleaning the dishes standing on her new step stool!

We got cleaned up and changed PJs to head over to Gammies for Christmas night. Oops, I forgot to take any pictures over there :( We had breakfast for dinner and opened gifts.

Landon even lost another tooth on Christmas, just like last year!

Good night, Christmas! It was wonderful!

Quiet Christmas Eve

The kids were not feeling well at all on Christmas Eve. They were running a low fever with runny noses and coughing. We decided early in the day that we would not be leaving the house and going to our usual Christmas Eve stops. We were sad that we did not see the Chaissons or go to Meme's. We knew we could not share our germs:(

There was lots of sleeping and snuggling, which was nice. It was so relaxing being at home without a schedule.

That night we let the kids open their gifts from Kelly and I.

We had fun playing until it was time for bed. As I was getting Allie Ruth out of the tub and in her pjs, the Chaisson's came by and left our gifts on the front porch! So sweet! and they got to meet Lucy!
The kids opened their presents from them and played a little more until it was time for bed.

I hated that the kids felt bad but we had a great christmas eve at home. It reminded me of when we brought Landon home from the hospital after he was born, except way better, lol!

Christmas with Mimmie!

We had a fun night at Mimmie's on the 23rd. Mimmie made all our favorite foods and as always it was so good!

Landon and Allie Ruth could not wait to open presents!

Landon loves his new camera! He has already taken some great pictures!

Its hard to tell what Allie Ruth loves the most! She uses her vacuum everyday! I wish it really worked!
Both kids love the kitchen! And she uses her step stool everyday to help herself reach whatever she needs!

Kelly and I were there too! We had a great time watching the kids excitement!

Landon celebrates SEVEN!

Since Landon's birthday falls at the start of Christmas break, Life is just one big party!
Landon had the option of having a birthday party somewhere with his friends, but he decided to have his friend spend the night just like last year! Win for Mom!
Nathan spent the night and they played and played! We also made cookies and watched movies.
The next day we went to the movies and saw Wreck it Ralph, which was so cute!

On your real birthday, we started the day by opening your gifts from Mom and Dad!

You got a set of slap bracelet watches that you wanted and a new shotgun.

You were so excited! Dad went over gun safety again and then showed you how to shoot it. It was a little louder and more powerful than Mom realized!

We had a birthday breakfast and spent the rest of the morning hang out around the house.
Later that afternoon we went to Chuckie Cheese with Dailey, Sydney and Gammie.

That night we had Mimmie and Gammie over for dinner. Landon picked Brad's bbq and it was so good!

Your opened your gifts!

You got everything on your birthday wish list!

Landon, We can't believe you are seven years old! It just seems like it was last Christmas Eve that we were bringing you home from the hospital! You are such a blessing to our family with your funny sense of humor and sweet heart! We love you so much!

We ened the night with your birthday spankings! Happy Birthday sweet boy!

Allie Ruth's Christmas program

Allie Ruth had her Christmas Program and it was so cute!
She is not feeling great, though. She has had a stomach bug and now is battling a cold.

Landon visited with Ms. Nellie, who he still calls Ms. Mellie!

Allie Ruth's class sang "Silent Night" and did a great job!
She has been singing around the house for a month. She did a good job with those hard words. I loved it when she would say "second verse" just like the teachers!

After the program we went to eat Mexican and look at Christmas lights!
It was a great holiday night!

Christmas in Dixie!

We went to the River to have Christmas with Uncle Bub! Just like last year, it was a lot of fun with great food!

Allie Ruth was feeling a little under the weather and it got passed on to Mom...

Landon and Mimmie made some great treats...

and we even had snow!

The kids loved their gifts! They love the crayon maker!
Oh, and the microphone that Allie Ruth keeps singing into:  Howll-a-moon-ya! Howll-a-moon-ya!
Meaning Hallelujah, Hallelujah!

Thanks Uncle Bub! The food was delish and the kids love you!
