Halloween Fun

We started the Halloween Fun on Saturday night. We went trunk or treating at Mimmie's church.

The kids loved their costumes! 

Uncle Bub went with us, but I think it was just for the candy!

Landon was really excited about craving pumpkins this year. This was the first year we have carved our pumpkins!

On halloween night we had some friends and family over to eat nachos and go treat or treating. We went to the scary cove. Landon was scared a little, but not Allie Ruth! We really didn't trick or treat for long, but the kids still had fun.

And now we have chickens...

Yep, that's right! We are going to raise some chickens!

We have been eating so many eggs lately so it only made sense to have them fresh...

The kids have been really interested in taking care of them and learning about them. 

Aren't they so cute?! Never a dull moment when you live with JKJ! Who wants some farm fresh eggs?!

Last day in Paradise

Landon and Kelly went on another fishing trip on a bigger boat. They loved it and had a great time. The girls did what we do best... shopping! After we got the fishing and shopping in, it was time to spend our last day on the beach, soaking up the last bit of sun and fun!

This view will definitely be missed!

 The waves were much bigger this day. Landon had a blast riding the waves!

All the playing in the water and sun will wear you out!

Fishing with Captain Dennis

You can bet if you are going to be with Kelly and around water that you are getting on a boat at some point! Kelly loves boats, water and fishing. He scheduled a charter fishing boat for the whole family to go on. We were glad he did, it was so much fun!

We went on a small, private boat with Captain Dennis. He was so nice, especially to the kids. We were supposed to say in the bay area, but since the ocean was really calm, he took us out about 2 miles.

The fish were really biting! We caught a lot of big keepers! We could not believe how high the fish would jump out of the water. We even saw several dolphins!

It was really hard work reeling them in!

We were all pretty worn out after our trip but had a great time!

We went back to the restaurant for dinner. They cooked the fish we caught three different ways. We all agreed that was our favorite dinner of the trip!
